UPDATE: Blue and Expo Lines resume normal service

7:37 a.m.:The Blue and Expo Lines are resuming normal service. The earlier disabled train has been cleared and bus shuttles have been cancelled. Metro thanks you for your understanding and patience.

The Blue and Expo Lines are experiencing major delays due to a disabled train near 7th/Metro Center station. Some trains are turning back from Pico and Grand stations. Bus shuttles have been requested. For Blue and Expo Line alternate service, see here.

  1. I have a question for your “how do they do that” series that you used to do. Unless it’s been said and I just missed it, but how does metro remove disabled trains? And for that matter, in multicar trains, are they all powered or just one or them?
