Join the CPR Block Party today at 5 Metro Rail stations, help break world record

This week is National CPR Awareness Week and EduLife Institute is offering free hands-only CPR training today at the following Metro stations:

  • Union Station
  • Red Line North Hollywood Station
  • Red Line Universal City Station
  • Red Line Vermont/Sunset Station
  • Gold Line Mariachi Plaza Station

Instructors will be at the stations until 10 p.m. The training takes less than 1 minute and is intended to equip as many people as possible with the skills necessary to save lives.

To make things more interesting, we’re also hoping to break the world record for most people to complete CPR training in 24 hours! Swing by, spend a minute and get a nifty participation card. And if you absolutely cannot make it out today, you can still learn CPR or take other American Heart Association training classes at the Critical Care Center in North Hollywood. Show your TAP card to receive a $10 discount on your selected course.

  1. Unfortunately, the folks at Gold Line Mariachi Plaza Station closed up shop arouond 130-200pm because of low turnout. I had just arrived and begged successfully to get the training [pun not overly intentional]. Anybody go anywhere else?

    • Hello,

Sorry to hear that, but thanks for coming out! We will hopefully get the attendance numbers soon and see if L.A. has broken the record or not.
