Take the Expo Line to L.A. K-Pop Festival on Saturday

Whether you’re planning on attending the Festival of Books (go Metro to save 10% on festival merch!) or the L.A. K-Pop Festival, there’s no question the Expo Line is the way to go.

The free K-Pop Festival takes place on Saturday, April 12 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and both Expo/Vermont and Expo Park/USC Station will be able to drop you off at the festival’s doorstep. The festival itself–with food trucks, booths, etc.–starts at 10 a.m. and there’s a free concert in the evening. (Though free, tickets are required.) Metro will be running enhanced service on both the Blue and Expo Line to accommodate attendees to both events.

Check out videos below to see a sample of who will be performing. Don’t worry, you don’t have to understand Korean to enjoy the music!

  1. Anyone getting off the Expo Line at Jefferson/USC is not going to be at the doorstep of the Coliseum! The LA Times Festival of Books is recommending Expo Park/USC, so you may want to direct K-Pop Festival goers to Expo/Vermont.
