Beginning 9 p.m., Friday, March 21 to Monday, April 21, Sepulveda Boulevard will be reduced to one northbound lane between Mountaingate Drive and Skirball Center Drive to conduct roadway construction on the northbound No. 2 lane.
The I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements contractor is planning to open the northbound 2 lane (600 feet south of the Skirball Bridge) and a right turn pocket onto the Skirball Bridge on Monday, April 7.
Additional closures will occur as follows:
Weekend Closure Schedule: Sepulveda Boulevard between Mountaingate Drive and Skirball Center Drive
9 p.m., Friday, March 21 to 6 a.m., Saturday, March 22:
· Skirball Bridge will be closed
· Sepulveda Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction
· Mountaingate Drive eastbound 2, 3 lanes will be closed for restriping. Access will be maintained for right and left turns onto Sepulveda Boulevard
Friday, April 4 to Monday, April 7
· Skirball Bridge will be closed, 10 p.m. Friday night to 6 a.m. Monday morning
· Sepulveda Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction, 10 p.m. Friday night to 6 a.m. Monday morning
Friday, April 11 to Monday, April 14
· Sepulveda Boulevard will be fully closed between Mountaingate Drive and Skirball Center Drive, 10 p.m. Friday night to 6 a.m. Monday morning
Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21
· Sepulveda Boulevard will be fully closed between Mountaingate Drive and Skirball Center Drive, 10 p.m. Friday night to 6 a.m. Monday morning
Intermittent closures on Sepulveda Boulevard between Mountaingate Drive and Skirball Center Drive
· Sepulveda Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction intermittently during non-peak hours (non-peak hours: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
· Sepulveda Boulevard will be fully closed during nighttime hours of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. intermittently
· Southbound Skirball on-and off-ramps will be closed intermittently during this operation and with full weekend closures
Detour for full Sepulveda closures:
Northbound: East on Wilshire Boulevard, north on Beverly Glen, west on Mulholland Drive, south on Skirball Center Drive, west on the Skirball Bridge, north on Sepulveda Boulevard
Southbound: South on Sepulveda Boulevard, east on the Skirball Bridge, east on Mulholland Drive, south on Beverly Glen, and west on Wilshire Boulevard
