Final Update 7:27 p.m.: Metro Gold Line is resuming normal service with minor residual delays expected through 8 p.m. Metro thanks affected customers for their patience and wishes everyone a great weekend.
The Metro Gold Line is currently experiencing delays of up to 20 minutes due to a car that struck a Southbound train at Pico/Aliso Station around 6:56 p.m. this evening.
Trains are sharing the Pasadena-bound track between Little Tokyo/Arts District and Pico/Aliso stations. Due to rail congestion, some trains heading south to East L.A. from Pasadena are turning back north at Union Station. Metro Gold Line customers should please follow all station announcements.
