It’s always awesome to see government display a sense of humor and not act like some faceless, droll blob of humanity behind a three-inch thick window. Nice job, New Jersey Transit!
For those unfamiliar with New York, New Jersey Transit is providing commuter rail service between Manhattan and MetLife Stadium, which is in the Meadowlands in New Jersey. Traffic into the Meadowlands area — which is surrounded by swamp land — can be a bear and fans are being encouraged to take transit to the game.
And here’s the latest forecast for the Super Bowl — looks like it should be a lot warmer than for the recent outdoor hockey games in Ann Arbor and the Bronx:
My pick: Seattle 31, Denver 28 in a game that will go down to the wire.
