UPDATE: Blue Line delays are now down to 10 minutes. Expo Line service is resuming normal operations with no delays at this time.
The Blue Line will be experiencing delays of up to 20 minutes through the end of service tonight due to signaling issues near Del Amo Station and a Blue Line storage facility.
Delays are attributed to broken signals near the Blue Line train yard, which are causing trains to hold until it is safe to pass through the affected area. The signals cannot be repaired until after close of service tonight, so expect delays through both morning and evening rush hour commutes.
Be advised that Southbound Expo Line service is also affected to due late Blue Line arrivals at 7th/Metro Station.
Consider using alternative routes. Use the Trip Planner to check for other transit options. For up-to-the-minute status updates, follow Metro on Twitter @metrolosangeles or @metroLAalerts.
