Final Update: Expo Line resumes normal service

Final Update 4:04 p.m.: The Metro Expo Line is resuming normal service after Culver City Station was temporarily closed due to police activity. Bus Shuttles have been cancelled at this time and trains resume service to/from Culver City Station.

Metro thanks those affected for their patience.

Service to the Metro Expo Line’s Culver City Station was suspended at approximately 2:35 p.m. this afternoon due to police activity. The station continues to remain closed to customers, and trains are turning back towards Los Angeles at La Cienega/Jefferson Station. Metro expects this disruption to last through evening rush hour and will provide updates on this incident as they become available.

In the meantime, bus shuttles have been established to replace service between La Cienega/Jefferson Station and Culver City Station. Customers may also take Metro Bus 217 from La Cienega/Jefferson and transfer at Venice Boulevard to Metro Bus 33 or Rapid 733 for service to Culver City Station. Line 733 is available for travel between Downtown L.A. and Culver City.
