Earlier this morning, Metro held a press event announcing the reopening of the Mulholland Bridge over the 405. The return of the new bridge to full capacity is the latest milestone for the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project, which is building a 10-mile carpool lane on the northbound I-405 between the 10 and 101 freeways.

  1. This is so exciting! Now that the Mulholland bridge is open, I can FINALLY take the train from West LA over the Sepulveda pass and out to the Valley! I’ve been waiting for this for years and years! Thanks Metro!

  2. congratulations, Metro – you’re spending over a billion dollars to do absolutely nothing to address congestion or the severe lack of effective, reliable transit in this corridor

  3. Token Bus across a bridge Metro does not run on. And no pedestrians or cyclists could be rounded up for this photo op? How very typical.
