  1. When are you posting the updated timetables? Changes will take place 10 days from now.

  2. @Ivan. I totally agree with you Line 720 can be extended to serve East LA College. Too bad there are already Line 260 and Montebello Line 10 on that Atlantic Blvd section. By looking at recent years’ service “enhancements”, Metro always wants to eliminate any “duplicated” services along a corridor. Remember Line 188? Now someone who used to ride end-to-end Line 188 (no transfer needed) has to take 260 + 181 + 264 (2 transfers needed … plus the who-knows-how-long wait time).

  3. You need something better than a cheap paper sign taped to a post every time the 217 has to be detoured because of construction or closures. Riders need to be made aware in a very obvious way their bus has been rerouted, esp in the middle of Hollywood. Plastic pylons with flashing lights, large sandwich board signs with metro logos on it, anything is better that a hand written paper sign!!

  4. How has Metro still not extended the 780 rapid from Washington/Fairfax to La Cienega/Jefferson station? This seems like a no-brainer.

  5. I can only presume that the “minor” service changes noted on the 83 and 256 lines in Highland Park will involve crossing Figueroa St. at Ave. 61. That certainly does eliminate the non-signaled left turn from Piedmont Ave. to Figueroa St. but also means that the buses will now have to cross the Gold Line tracks twice. During weekday rush-hour traffic. that will play havoc with the schedules, not that they’re very reliable in that area now. Riders should allow extra time.
