Update: Red Line resuming regular service in Hollywood area

Trains are resuming regular service on the Metro Red Line in the Hollywood area. The Hollywood/Vine Station is open for service. Expect some residual delays for the next hour or so from this morning’s incident. For real-time updates, follow Metro on Twitter @metrolosangeles or @metroLAalerts.

Service was disrupted this morning due to a trespasser being struck by a train near Hollywood/Vine Station. The incident is currently under investigation by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

If you were delayed on the Red Line this morning – or by the presidential motorcade, which affected Westside bus service including Metro Bus 4/704, 20/720 – and need delay verification for employer/school, call Customer Relations at 213.922.6235 / Fax 213.922.6988.
