FINAL UPDATE: 11:17 a.m.: Bus shuttles have been cancelled; Red Line resuming normal operations with residual delays occurring through the next hour.
UPDATE- 10:12 a.m.: Hollywood/Vine Station has reopened. Red Line will incur up to 20 min delays and trains will continue sharing 1 track in Hollywood. Bus shuttles will still be in effect to supplement service.
UPDATE- 9:43 a.m.: Due to Hollywood/Vine station closure, bus shuttles have been requested and will connect with Hollywood/Highland and Hollywood/Western stations. This is in addition to existing bus service (Lines 180, 181, 212, 217 and 780) on Hollywood Blvd that also serve these stations.
UPDATE- 9:26 a.m.: Hollywood/Vine station is now closed while police complete their investigation. Trains will bypass the station. To access the Red Line, Use Lines 180, 181 or 780 to Hollywood/Western or 212, 217 or 780 to Hollywood/Highland.
Red Line service has been disrupted due to a
police investigation at Hollywood/Vine. At this time, trains are
running with 20 minute delays and trains are sharing the North
Hollywood-bound track at Hollywood/Highland. The delays are
expected to continue through this morning’s rush hour period.
Downtown-bound San Fernando Valley commuters should consider using
Metrolink or LADOT Commuter Express services this morning as
