Los Angeles International Airport is currently shut down due to police activity. The Federal Aviation Administration has grounded all flights and no vehicles are allowed to enter the horseshoe road leading to the terminals at this time, including FlyAway buses, Metro Green Line “G” shuttle buses from Aviation/LAX Station and other airport connections.
Metro Green Line service is not affected. Expect MAJOR DELAYS on all Metro buses that travel in the LAX area as streets are extremely congested and there are other road closures. Century Boulevard is closed from Sepulveda to Aviation. Buses will be detouring around the area if possible.
All exits to LAX from the 105 and 405 freeways are closed, according to the California Highway Patrol, which says all motorists should avoid traveling in the area.
FlyAway buses are not routing any buses through the area.
