  1. In Tokyo Narita, there’s a very tight security checkpoint before entering the airport compounds itself, whether it’s coming via rail, bus, taxi, or car, thanks to an incident where activists breaking into the control tower and smashing aircraft control equipment back in the late 1970s.

    This incident will ultimately play a factor in the design of the Crenshaw Line and airport security. You keep the crazies from getting near the airport in the first place rather than putting security in the terminals.

  2. I suspect this incident will affect the ultimate design of the interface with the people-mover by the Crenshaw Line. It may be such that security will be handled before the people mover and that automobile access to the terminals as we know today, will be phased out.

  3. Will Flyaway and Green Line Shuttle service resume as soon as other traffic is allowed?

    • Hi Jessica,

      That’s what I’ve been told. We’ll update the Source as soon as access to LAX is open again.

  4. Are there any shuttles taking arriving passengers out of the immediate LAX area?

    • Hi Jessica;

      I’m not sure but it sounds like no traffic is entering the terminal area at this time.

  5. I would like to know if the green line is entering through lax heading to Redondo beach

    • Hi Luis,

      The Green Line is running regular service between Norwalk and Redondo Beach. However, the “G” Shuttle bus is not entering LAX at this time.
