Self Help Graphics & Art’s 40th annual Día de los Muertos celebration takes place this Saturday at 1300 East 1st Street in Boyle Heights. The free event takes place from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and includes the traditional ceremonial blessing, food and craft vendors, face painting, children’s workshops and more. Calaca attire is encouraged!

There will be no on-site parking, so the best way to get to the festivities is via the Metro Gold Line to Pico/Aliso Station or Metro Bus 30/330 to 1st/Utah. Use Trip Planner for more routes and connections.
