AFI FEST film festival takes place in Hollywood Thursday, Nov. 7 through Thursday, Nov. 14. The festival will showcase the best independent films of the year and is the only film festival of international stature free to the public. Films will be shown at the TCL Chinese Theatres, Chinese 6, the Egyptian Theatre, and the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, all locations that are mere steps from the Metro Red Line Hollywood/Highland Station.
