405 Commuter Alert

10 a.m. update: Sepulveda Boulevard and Northbound offramp to Westbound Wilshire are now open.

9:30 a.m. update:  The opening of Sepulveda Boulevard is now forecast to open approximately 10 a.m.

6:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22:  The I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements contractor will require additional time to conduct falsework removal activities at the Wilshire Interchange this morning. Sepulveda Boulevard will be closed between Ohio and Wilshire Boulevard until approximately 9 a.m. The Northbound offramp to Westbound Wilshire also will be closed.  Current detours from night-time work activities will remain in place.  Nearby freeway ramps will be open.  Traffic control officers are being deployed to the area to assist motorists. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible to help reduce congestion impacts.
