The Sherman Oaks Street Fair takes place on Sunday on Ventura between Van Nuys and Kester. The free festivities last from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and include music, food and great family friendly activities. Anyone heading to the Edward Sharpe Big Top this weekend? With shows Thursday through Sunday, the unique music and performing arts festival takes place under a big top circus tent at the Los Angeles State Historic Park. Shows begin at 8 p.m. each day, with an additional Sunday show taking place at noon. General admission starts at $60. (Metro Gold Line to Chinatown Station)
Saturday marks the opening night of Invisible Cities at Union Station. The premiere performance is currently at capacity, but check their calendar to see if there’s another date you can make. Enjoy a brand new opera while experiencing the station in a completely new way. Tickets start at $45 for the 10 p.m. performances, and there are also two $25 Tuesdays.
