I honestly don’t see the rationale of these “show your TAP card get a discount” deals.
It’s not like people who are selling stuff have TAP checkers to check if there’s a valid pass or ride deducted on it.
What’s stopping anyone from just buying the $2 TAP card, fill up nothing in it, drive there to get freebie and discounts?
Buy a $2.00 TAP card that no one checks, use it for discounts all across LA events forever. Am I the only one who sees huge faults with this?
You know what would be better? Making TAP cards filled with cash value actually buy stuff at a discount.
