Even though the Blue Line Farmers’ Market is still fairly new, it’s proving to be a huge success. With more and more people heading over, the market has grown and now has even more to offer!
From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., there will be live, healthy cooking demonstrations every 20 minutes. This week features 5-star Chef Anna (The Seed Lady of Watts) making her famous Collard Green Tacos.
Market-goers will also be able to enter in a raffle to win products and services from the Blue Line Farmers’ Market, and starting this month, sign up at the market to get organic food delivered to your home!
The Blue Line Farmers’ Market takes place every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., rain or shine. Go Metro and save 10% on your purchase. Just show your valid TAP card to any market vendor to receive the discount.
To get to the Blue Line Farmers’ Market, take the Blue Line to Compton Station or Metro Bus 202 to Willowbrook/Compton. For more routes and connections, use Trip Planner.
