Service Advisory: Blue Line every 20-24 minutes Sunday morning, Sept. 29

This Sunday, Sept. 29, the Blue Line will run every 20-24 minutes from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. due to a planned train evacuation drill between Compton and Willowbrook stations involving Metro Operations, the LA County Sheriffs Department, and the Compton Fire Department. During this time, Blue Line service will share one track between Compton and Artesia stations.

Metro regularly conducts drills, in partnership with other responding agencies, to prepare for a variety of possible future incidents.

Announcements will be made at Blue Line stations. You can also follow real-time alerts on Twitter or check Metro’s Service Advisories page. Please plan ahead and expect extended wait times if you will be taking the Blue Line this Sunday morning.

Regular weekend service will resume on the Blue Line after 10 a.m.
