So much good stuff happening at Union Station!
This Thursday, L.A. artist Doug Aitken and his art train project Station to Station: A Nomadic Happening will arrive in Los Angeles for a one-night only event that should not be missed. Station to Station starts at Union Station at 6:30 p.m. and the event lasts until 11 p.m.
Unfortunately the concert is already sold out, but you can still come by and check out the amazing art yurts and sculptures available for public viewing outside of the ticketed area. Artists will be producing art in real time and some of the pieces are also interactive. They will be located in the Union Station South Patio.

The art train itself is currently located at Union Station Track 14, drop by to check it out! The lights show up after it gets dark.
To get to Union Station, take the Red, Purple or Gold Line or any of several Metro of municipal buses. Use Trip Planner for more routes and connections. Bicycle parking is also available on site. If you’re a commuter who catches Metrolink after work, try and see if you can’t catch a later train. This event is well worth sticking around to see.

Will non-ticket holders be able to view the special train’s exterior?
Hi Tom,
Good question! I believe the answer is yes as only the concert is ticketed. However, I’m working on finding out which platform/track the train will pull in on, and will update with this info as soon as I get it.
ETA: The train is already at the station! It is located at Track 14. Public is welcome to check it out.
Thanks,
Anna Chen
