UPDATE at 11:15 a.m. LAFD has cleared the area and the Green Line is resuming regular service.
The Metro Green Line has suspended service between the Crenshaw/I-105 and Aviation/LAX stations at the request of the Los Angeles Fire Department due to a major gas leak near the railroad tracks. Trains are turning back from both stations.
Bus shuttles are en route to assist customers travel between the stations. Expect travel delays of up to 30 minutes. Follow announcements at the stations.

Emergency Closure: Glenn Anderson Freeway (I-105) Between I-405 and Crenshaw Blvd.
Los Angeles – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) closed I-105 from the San Diego Freeway (I-405) to Crenshaw Boulevard in both directions at 10:30 a.m. It is unknown at this time when the closure will be lifted.
This closure is in place to support the City of Hawthorne’s efforts to cap a gas leak near Imperial Highway and Truro Avenue.
