Your I-405 update for the weekend from Metro:
The I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements contractor will be shifting K-rail, restriping six lanes of traffic and setting K-rail in the freeway median on the nights of Saturday, September 14, 2013, and Sunday September 15. This work will require a full closure of all northbound lanes on the I-405 from the northbound Getty Center Drive off-ramp to the Greenleaf St on-ramp.
The Saturday closure will take place from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. and the Sunday closure will take place from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m.
Ramp Closures:
Closure of the following I-405 northbound on-ramps from: Sunset Boulevard, Moraga Drive, Getty Center Drive, Skirball Center Drive, and Mulholland Drive.
What to Expect:
Emergency vehicle access will be maintained. Pedestrians will be rerouted to a safe area outside of the construction zone.
Detour:
Head north on Sepulveda Boulevard toward Greenleaf Street to regain access to the freeway. For a freeway closure detour, exit at the northbound off-ramp to Getty Center Drive and use the Sepulveda Boulevard northbound lanes.
