The 5th annual Taste of East L.A. will be serving up tasty eats on Saturday, September 7. The event starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 8 p.m. and cost for the event is $20 for 20 Taste Coupons. (Metro Gold Line to East L.A. Civic Center Station)

Heading to the USC game on Saturday? Make sure to go Metro and keep in mind the road closures in the area. Hop on the Expo Line to Expo Park/USC or Expo/Vermont for easy access to the Coliseum.

Watch the Shakespeare play Pericles, Prince of Tyre, which opens this weekend at A Noise Within. The performance takes place at 8 p.m. and tickets start at $34. (Metro Gold Line or Metro Bus 267 to Sierra Madre Villa Station)

Love 3-D movies? Head to the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood to check out the World 3-D Movie Expo III, taking place September 6 – 15. Kids might like the 3-D animation show on Saturday, starting at 11 a.m. And film buffs might enjoy seeing Dial M for Murder in a whole new way on Sunday, starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 for each film.
