The 101 connector to northbound I-405 will be closed this Saturday night for work to be done on the Mulholland Bridge. Here’s the press release from Metro:
The I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements contractor will be removing the falsework on the Mulholland Bridge in the Sepulveda Pass on Saturday, August 24. This will require a full northbound directional freeway closure from Getty to Greenleaf/Ventura Boulevard from 11 p.m. until 9 a.m. Sunday morning. The southbound I-405 HOV, #1 and #2 lanes also will be closed to provide a work buffer at the same time.
Ramp Closures:
The US 101 connector ramp to the northbound I-405 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m.
What to Expect:
Emergency vehicle access will be maintained. Pedestrians will be rerouted to a safe area outside of the construction zone.
Detour:
Sepulveda Boulevard will be used as the detour route and no closures will take place on Sepulveda Boulevard from Getty to Greenleaf/Ventura Boulevard.
