Good morning, Source readers. The gavel dropped a few minutes ago on the July meeting of the Metro Board of Directors.

Lakewood Councilwoman Diane DuBois is the new Board chair. Her colleagues on the Board have just approved Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti as the Board's Vice Chair and Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas as the Second Vice Chair.
