A few weeks ago we posted an item on LYFE Kitchen in Culver City and asked you to send in names of your favorite vegetarian restaurants. You responded with some great ideas.
Eric R. said “I’m not a vegetarian, but I’ve only ever heard good things about Cafe Gratitude from my vegetarian/vegan friends. It’s at 639 N. Larchmont, close to Melrose so it’s easily accessed from Line 10 on Melrose and only a short walk from Line 14 on Beverly.”
Ebelin C. recommended a few “vegetarian-friendly” restaurants, which we took to mean places to dine in with meat loving friends without prompting debate. Near the Red and Purple Line Pershing Square Station are Cabbage Patch, Two Bits Market and Ground Floor. And for all-vegetarian dining, Ebelin suggested Cinnamon, which is just two blocks from the Gold Line Highland Park Station (see above photo).
There must be other great vegetarian or vegan places around town. This is California, after all. Have any other suggestions? Let us know. Drop us an email at sourcemetro@gmail.com and we’ll post it on our growing Ride & Dine map.

Food a cut above the other vegan Thai restaurants in LA, lovely atmosphere, and especially the Melrose location, a place I take out-of-town guests.
Thank you, Linnea. This sound terrific!
