Go Metro Weekends, June 21 – 23

Make Music Los Angeles is back this Friday with an eleven hour celebration of musical creativity that will take place throughout the entire county of Los Angeles. Many of the city sidewalks, parks, community gardens, street corners and schoolyards will become the backdrop or stage for free concerts. To celebrate, you can score some sweet deals at the following locations on June 21 with your TAP card.

Head to Long Beach for the Bayou and Blues Festival this weekend. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Enjoy culture music, cuisine and dance. General admission is $30 at the door, show your TAP card to receive $5 off. Saturday is Men’s Health Awareness Day at USC. The free health fair lasts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature live music, a classic car show, children’s activities and more.
