The I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements contractor is scheduled to conduct a full northbound freeway closure from Santa Monica Boulevard to Moraga Drive Saturday night, June 8, 2013 from 1:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. (Sunday morning) and Sunday night, June 9, 2013 from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. (Monday morning).
The full northbound freeway closure is necessary to conduct repaving and striping activities for a new additional lane. A portion of the new additional lane is scheduled to open to motorists Monday, June 10, 2013 at 5 a.m. The northbound on-ramp from Santa Monica is also scheduled to be reconfigured this weekend, and the existing barrier at the on-ramp from Santa Monica and off-ramp to Wilshire will be removed. This will provide additional merge time for motorists traveling on the on-ramp from Santa Monica and off-ramp to Wilshire.
·Detour: Exit Santa Monica Boulevard, east on Santa Monica Boulevard, north on Sepulveda, enter I-405 at Moraga Drive.
·Schedule and details are subject to change based on progress and field conditions.
