  1. The MTA NEEDS TO STOP “Promoting” itself! After having experienced TWO EXTENDED “Standing Ride Only” buses today (Sunday, 05/05), it is painfully obvious, that INCREASING BUSES ON BUS LINES, while begging for more ridership, is NOT the MTA’s idea of efficient public transit! It a is pathetic level of bus service the MTA provides, and it is an OBSCENE WASTE OF TAX DOLLARS, when standing bus riders are crammed “20 deep” in a bus line’s aisle, with NO INCREASE IN ANY BUS LINE’S SERVICE!
