April Board of Directors agenda
Here is the agenda for the regular monthly meeting of the Metro Board of Directors that is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at Metro HQ in downtown Los Angeles. As usual, I’ll be at the meeting and will post about some of the more interesting items.
Categories: Policy & Funding
“be waived for 6 months for all participants who either work or reside in Los Angeles County”
People live in surrounding counties too you know? Keep things simple. No maintenance fees period. None of this “except for blah-blah-blah” amendments. Don’t politicians have better things to do than come up with dumb restrictions?
New York subway stations getting free wifi. Tokyo and Osaka subways have wifi or network access. When will LA Metro get it?
“SYSTEM SAFETY AND OPERATIONS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDED(3-0) approval of YAROSLAVSKY MOTION
that the monthlymaintenance fee be waived for 6 months for all participants who either work or reside in Los Angeles County; and
FURTHER that Staff continue to gather and analyze data and provide theBoard with quarterly updates. FASANA AMENDMENT
to terminate accounts after 6 months of non-use.”
FINALLY!!
