This weekend, don’t miss the Pasadena Earth and Arts Festival. The festival kicks off on Friday at 7:30 p.m. with an outdoor screening of “Occupy Love” at the Memorial Park Levitt Pavilion. Then on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., head back to Memorial Park or visit Armory Center for the Arts for live music, art workshops, an eco-marketplace and more. C.I.C.L.E. is also sponsoring a bike ride during the festival. The festival is free to all. Show your TAP card at the transportation booth at Memorial Park and receive a free reusable Earth Day bag while supplies last. Taco lovers, go crazy at Grand Park this Saturday at ¡TACO MADNESS! The event takes place from noon to 7:30 p.m. and includes DJs, live mural painting and of course, tacos. ¡TACO MADNESS! is free to attend and tacos start at $1 each. Show your TAP card at the Jarritos booth and get a free beverage. (Metro Red/Purple Line to Civic Center Station, Metro Bus 10/48 to Hill/Temple)

L.A. Times Festival of Books is taking place 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, check out the previous posts for more information. Besides the Expo Line, the Bullseye Bus and F DASH are other transit options for getting there. The free Bullseye Bus leaves from Union Station and may be a better transfer option for those coming in on the Gold Line. F DASH travels between downtown L.A. and USC along Figueroa Street; rides are 50 cents and they accept TAP. Show your TAP card when buying official Festival of Books merchandise and get 10% off.
