Due to emergency ExpressLanes maintenance, southbound service on Silver Line, 460 and 550 will be affected tonight from as early as 9 pm through approximately 5 am Wednesday morning. Northbound service is unaffected.
When barricades are present, all southbound express buses will bypass 37th St/USC, Slauson and Manchester stations, then merge back into the HOT lanes and resume regular route at Harbor Fwy Station (Green Line). Affected passengers should use Line 81 on nearby Figueroa to connect with express buses at either Harbor Fwy Station or at Figueroa/Adams.
Metro ExpressLanes apologizes for any inconvenience.

Erik: When I refer to Metro I am refering to the in-field personnel; when I refer to MTA I am referring to the brass and stuffed shirts who have likely never stepped onto a train other than a photo op. I am surprised an intelligent smarty pants such as yourself could not figure that out. But thank you for your comment which fully explains what happened last evening.
Metro is LACMTA.
So the Silver Line nearly charges DOUBLE the fare of the Metro Rail Lines, and they refuse to lower the fare for the silver line…. Makes no sense!
Utter incompetence on behalf of Metro. No posted announcements along Metro Silverline route, no personnel redirecting passengers. Waited over 50 minutes for Silverline at Union Station. Never arrived. Had to take Red Line to Blue Line to Green Line, then taxi to Artesia Transit Center. 2 hours, 15 minutes. Thank you Metro and MTA.
