Museums Free-for-All is back! 19 museums all over L.A. County will be opening their doors to the public free of charge this weekend. Here’s a list of participating museums, many of which are accessible by Metro.

Make sure to check museum hours, some are open Saturday or Sunday only. Reservations and (free) timed tickets may be required for certain exhibits. The free-for-all does not apply to specially ticketed exhibitions Caravaggio and His Legacy and Stanley Kubrick.

January 26 will also mark the start of the L.A. International New Music Festival. Composers from all over the world will gather at The Colburn School’s Zipper Concert Hall to show their stuff. The pre-concert talk will start at 7 p.m. and the concert will begin at 8 p.m. General admission is $38. (Metro Bus 96 to Grand/2nd)
