The transit plaza at Union Station at 4:05 p.m.

As of 4 p.m., the subway station at Union Station is in the process of being reopened. Service has already resumed for Metrolink, Amtrak and the Gold Line.

The Patsaouras Bus Plaza is being reopened and buses are beginning to arrive as of 4:10 p.m.

Expect some residual delays until everything is up and running.

The closure was prompted by a suspicious package on the subway platform. The package was neutralized.
