This Sunday is Daylight Saving, and clocks around Los Angeles will be turning back an hour at 2 a.m.
Those attending HARD Day of the Dead, don’t worry, Metro Rail service will continue running 30 – 40 minutes after the event regardless of the official time on the clock.
However, for Metro Rail, there will not be any bonus Daylight Saving service, so basically once you’ve turned back the clock, your best bet is to catch the last train before it turns 1:30 a.m. again.
Metro Bus, on the other hand, will operate a “bonus” hour of service during the time change if the regular service schedule shows service after 1:59 a.m.
Check schedules in advance and try not to forget to turn back your clocks. If you have questions, ask them here and we’ll work through this confusing time together!

Hi Mark,
From the schedule, it looks like Line 20 runs every half hour after 10 p.m. And there will be another bus at 2 a.m. and then at 2:30 a.m. Service will continue as usual until normal daytime service resumes.
so if line 20 dept santa monica 2;00am then clocks set back hour would there be another 2am bus
or would you have wail til 3 am
Just a technicality. Sunday we go off Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) and back to Pacific Standard Time (PST).
