Green Line service disruption between Crensaw and Avalon stations

Please see the notice below. The problem may continue until the Friday morning commute, meaning bus shuttles will replace the train between Avalon and Crenshaw. Before leaving home, please check the metro.net homepage or Metro's Twitter feed for any updates.

Here's the service alert with alternate routes:

Due to a power systems issue (the overhead wire system which feeds power into the trains), Green Line service has been suspended between Crenshaw/I-105 and Avalon stations until further notice.

As of 11pm Thursday, this disruption is expected to continue through Friday afternoon. Crews are currently troubleshooting. Customers are strongly advised to check the status of service before beginning their trip on Friday. Follow @metroLAalerts for the latest updates.

While train service has been suspended, bus shuttles have been implemented between Crenshaw/I-105 and Avalon stations, also making stops at Harbor Fwy and Vermont/Athens stations. However, please allow additional travel time due to anticipated crowding and delays.
