  1. Regarding parking lots: “Nope, those spaces are for day use — we want to make as much space possible for daily commuters.”

    I know a few people who would ride Metro daily if they could leave their cars overnight. They live near Metro Downtown and work just past the reaches of the Red Line in Universal City and just past the Expo Line in Culver City. Both have expressed to me that they would leave their car there (not worried to much about security I guess) overnight and ride Metro every day.

    There’s gotta be a way to allow overnight parking and instead limit parking of more than 24 hours or something like that… some commuters will leave their cars overnight, but move them in the morning, thereby making room for the commuters who park during the day.
