Elected officials and Metro are cutting the ribbon on the new El Monte Station later this morning, with the public opening on Sunday. I’ll post some photos of the facility later today. In the meantime, here’s a fact sheet on the station:

How about services? We need more services like restrooms, coffee stands, convenience stores, vending machines, and newspaper stands at these places. We don’t want a place where we just stand around and do nothing while we wait for the bus and train anymore.
