  1. I totally agree with your comment about trip planner, I entered information to go from Pasadena Sierra Madre station to Canoga / Sherman way, and trip planner gives you only bus options, does not give you the option of using rail or a combination of both, such as Gold Line to Red Line to Orange line. System needs to be updated so that you can choose other options.

  2. Aww, you missed my tweet this week complaining about the Trip Planner… trying to figure out the best way to get from Pasadena to Torrance, Trip Planner just can’t figure out that I can walk from the Gold Line platform at Union Station to Alameda/Los Angeles to catch Torrance 1. Instead, it has me ride a single stop on the Red/Purple and catch it at Civic Center, or catch a bus from Patsaouras to Cesar Chavez/Alameda (yes, really)… one option I saw even had me walk all the way to Vignes/Cesar Chavez and take a bus to Alameda/Cesar Chavez!

And oddly, Gold Line to Silver Line to Artesia Transit Center to Torrance 1 (which, in many circumstances, could be faster) isn’t even offered as an option.
