UPDATE: Gold Line thru service restored one day early as crews complete repairs to overhead power system at Southwest Museum Station

METRO GOLD LINE SERVICE ALERT UPDATE:
Repairs to overhead power system completed at Southwest Museum Station, and the bus bridge that shuttled passengers between Heritage Square, Southwest Museum and Highland Park stations has been canceled. Repairs to the overhead power system at the Southwest Museum Gold Line Station got underway after 9 p.m. Friday (June 8) and were completed by 4 a.m. on Sunday morning. Originally, repairs were expected to be completed by the close of service on Sunday night, well in advance of the Monday morning commute. The repairs did not disrupt service between between East Los Angeles and Heritage Square and between Highland Park and Pasadena.
