Video: Plan ahead for ‘Ramp Jam’

Here’s the video from the news conference officials held this morning to announce the the first extended, 90-day closures of key Wilshire on- and off-ramps to the I-405. The closures are scheduled to begin June 22. L.A. County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky took the opportunity to coin the closures “Ramp Jam.”

  1. Wouldn’t it have been nice if, say, 20 years ago when it was more affordable, the region had built a high-capacity rail line along Wilshire to a point west of I-405? But I guess we will not know, thanks to the “leadership” in office then.

  2. This entire event serves as a reminder as to why I left the Westside and how one couldn’t even pay me to move back. Good call it appears
