All of the covered bus lines would need to accept TAP cards in order for EZ Passes on TAP to be effective. For example, Torrance Transit. If I had my EZ Pass on my TAP card at present, it would be useless twice a day during one leg of my commute to/from work, and thus not save me any money. I hope the goal is to make TAP more universal soon so that we CAN put EZ Passes on TAP cards without them being rendered useless on certain lines.
Heck, just having to have separate balances for Metro and Culver City Bus (never mind the huge inconvenience of having to physically go to Culver City Hall or their Transportation Department to add funds to your TAP card for use on CCB) was a huge deterrent to using TAP on a regular basis for me.
There’s not much, if any, time savings with a TAP card if you mostly use it, as I do, to buy day passes.
Gary:
I got one at the LaCienega station today. They are only available on the expo line in the ticket vending machines for a limited time.
Where/how do you get that awesome TAP card??
can we get EZ passes on tap yet?
Hi there;
Unfortunately, EZ passes are not available yet on TAP.

If there isn’t one already, will there be a post on restaurants and other types of eateries near the Expo Line stations? I would love to check out a food guide to explore some places near the new stations.
Hi Simon;
Here’s a recent post with the destinations guide for Expo.
