  1. […] a number of celebrations going on this weekend at various stations, and you can find a list of them here. (Be a bit cautious about the Pardee Plaza one at USC though, I thought I may have seen something […]

  2. It’s been a long time coming, and I am really looking forward to this. I could take the Expo line to Exposition Park, without having to pay for $8 plus dollars just to park there. For $1.50 one way, or $3.00, I could save money. Get on Board the Expo Line.

  3. Will there be a train breaking through a banner like they did when the Goldline and Eastside extension opened? If so, what day and time?

  4. HI MISTER HYMON,
HERE’S MY IMMODERATE TWO CENTS :THE VERMONT/EXPO STATION IS SPLIT IN TWO. QUITE BIZARRE!
REGARDING THE SOUTH EXPOSITION BLVD.PLATFORM ,EAST OF VERMONT AVENUE, WHERE’S THE EMERGENCY PHONE AND TVMs?
OH THERE THEY ARE! ON THE SIDEWALK ; ONLY A HALF- BLOCK AWAY NORTH ON VERMONT ,NOT TOO FAR FROM THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF VERMONT AVENUE AND EXPOSITION BLVD.
CLOSE ENOUGH FOR ROCK AND ROLL? BUT CLOSE ENOUGH FOR PUC INSPECTION?

  5. Roz,

Go to any Metro Rail Station, or http://www.taptogo.net and you can get a pass there. HOWEVER, you MUST have a “TAP” Card. If you don’t have one, it is just $2 for a pass.

I’ll see if I cannot attend briefly on Saturday. I think it’d be fun. 🙂

  6. Are the metro fares applicable? My employers have a discount for taking public transportation; how do I buy mothly passes?

  7. Hi,

I was just wondering if the Expo Line will still be running after 7:00 p.m. that weekend at all? Is it just free until 7 and then normal fees after 7? Or is it completely shutting down at 7?

    Thanks!

    • Hi Morgan,

The Expo Line will only be running until 7 p.m. this weekend. The normal early morning to late night schedule will begin on Monday.

  8. I remember reading somewhere that there will be food trucks at some of these stations. If so, where and what trucks will be there?

    • Hi Simon,

We are still confirming the trucks scheduled to be there, but as of now there will be 3 trucks at each of the four stations.

  9. So will 7th street be shut down for the day between Figueroa and Hope? Or will the booths be located underground?

    • Hi,

7th Street will be closed between Hope and Figueroa, but cars will still be able to pass on Flower and Figueroa.

      Thank you,
