The press was given a chance on Friday to view up close the recent work on the “Iconic Bridge” that will carry the Gold Line Foothill Extension light rail line over the eastbound 210 freeway. The above photo shows the first set of beams that will be part of the falsework for the bridge.
As we reported recently, there will be some upcoming late night and early morning closures of the eastbound side of the 210 in Arcadia in order to accommodate the construction work on the bridge.
