There’s another emergency drill for Expo at 9 a.m. today, Friday, 2/3 — this one at the rail line intersection of Raymond Avenue and Exposition Boulevard. The drill will simulate an accident involving a train and a vehicle.

As we said yesterday, this is one of several drills that must be conducted prior to the opening of the new line. Metro conducts emergency drills on new and existing rail lines throughout the year in an effort to coordinate response times and communications with Metro Rail staff and emergency responders.
