Metro Board Members Richard Katz and Pam O’Connor joined Metro Chief Operations Officer Lonnie Mitchell and the Tournament of Roses Queen and Royal Court at Union Station this morning to promote Metro and Metrolink services to the 2012 Tournament of Roses festivities in Pasadena.
Officials announced Metro will operate all rail lines and the Orange line throughout the night New Year’s Eve Dec. 31/Jan. 1 and Jan. 1/2 to enable L.A. County residents to take a safe, cost-effective transit alternative to festivities and parade events. Metrolink will also be offering services on the San Bernardino and Antelope Valley Lines Jan. 2, as well as 2-for-1 discounts.
