The second phase of Sunset Bridge reconstruction work for the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project is scheduled to begin October 15 and last for two weeks.
Work will require the weekday morning closure of the southbound 405 Sunset Boulevard freeway off-ramp beginning Monday, October 17. Motorists will have to utilize freeway off-ramps at either Getty or Wilshire Boulevard between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. only during weekdays (See map).
The first phase of Sunset Bridge intersection work included efforts to raise other street intersections and utilities to meet the new height of the bridge’s rebuilt south side. See earlier Source post on this work.
All the details are on the construction notice posted after the jump.

as long as the bus 761 is running I’m ok with it.
RiderLA, Metro Bus Operations reports stops on Church Lane for Bus Line 761 and 2 will be moved to Sepulveda and Ovada. There will be signs to that effect at the original stop and at the temporary stop for bus patrons. That’s the normal procedure for temporarily relocating bus stop locations. We’ll be updating our web site with this info. Hope this helps.
What’s missing from the bus detour info? The vital info re: bus stops in the chaos! E.g., what happens to the bus stops on Chruch SB & NB for the 761 (aka the never rapid)? This is why only the very determined or the desperate use MTA because riders are required to be mind readers or psychics. Where are those heavily used stops being moved to?
