Update 8:20 p.m.: Track is cleared at Memorial Park Station to allow trains to resume service and bypass Memorial Park Station. Bus bridge will transport passengers to Del Mar and Lake stations.
Police activity on board a Metro Gold Line train stopped at the Memorial Park station has effectively closed the station while police investigate an altercation on board. The incident occurred at approximately 6:20 p.m. on the northbound train. Delays do not affect Gold Line service from Del Mar Station in Pasadena to Atlantic Station in East Los Angeles. A bus bridge will transport passengers between Del Mar and Lake stations in the Pasadena area. Trains will be able to single-track past the station when cleared by investigators. Updates to follow.
